A Million Thanks, James Brown! You Da Man!!

With the guilt gnawing at me for my neglect of our Website, I made myself a pitcher of martinis and here I sit, getting to work on the first of many “Thank Yous” that are to come.

First and foremost: A HUGE “THANK YOU” to James Brown for the hundreds of monogrammed cigars and matchboxes he gifted to our class reunion. Jim had these cigars specially made and shipped out to MD just for our reunion. A million “Thanks”, JB, for your incredible generosity and thoughtfulness!

I was going to try to post things in order of occurrence (happy hour, renfest, reunion, Sunday after-party at Cheshire Crab), but I had to publish this photo taken by the incomparable Paula Nacke Jacobs, as our first post-reunion weekend photo because it pretty much sums up the freakin’ hilarity and exuberance of Saturday night. Couldja Help a Girl Out? (or, why aren’t you on this list of OMHS 1981 30 year reunion attendees when you said you’re planning to attend? ;-)

Awwwight…See the people in the list below? ALL of them will be getting their lovely senior year photo name tags because they bought their tickets! I’m trying to wait to the last minute to scan and assemble your name tags for our 30 Year Reunion on 17.September. But…I’m a little (actually, a LOT) swamped with work, and then I gotta pack, and then do the cross-country airplane-boogie to Maryland in just a few days, so the pressure is getting a little thick…You feelin’ me?

I want to make sure that everyone who attends gets a photo name tag, but there are a couple dozen classmates who are playing-hard-to-get(!) said they’d be attending but haven’t bought tickets yet.

So, yup, this is your little butt-fire: help this girl out – get your tickets now – pweety-pweese?
